1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, browsing, or using TCG.SG (the "Platform"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you", or "your") and TCG.SG ("we", "us", or "our").

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must immediately cease using the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform following the posting of any changes to these Terms constitutes acceptance of those changes.

2. Eligibility

To use the Platform, you must meet the following eligibility requirements:

• You must be at least 13 years of age. If you are under 18, you represent that you have obtained consent from a parent or legal guardian to use the Platform.
• The Platform is primarily designed for users located in Singapore. We may use IP geolocation technology to determine your location and tailor services accordingly.
• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep your account information up to date at all times.
• You must not have been previously banned or had your account terminated by TCG.SG.

3. Account Responsibilities

When you create an account on TCG.SG, you agree to the following responsibilities:

• You are solely responsible for maintaining the security and confidentiality of your account credentials, including your password.
• You must not share your account with any other person or allow others to access the Platform using your credentials.
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account, whether or not authorised by you.
• You must notify TCG.SG immediately at info (at) tcg dot sg if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account or any other breach of security.

4. Platform Services

TCG.SG is a community platform for trading card game enthusiasts. The Platform provides the following services:

• Card listings — Users may list trading cards for sale via buy-now pricing or auction formats.
• AI card scanning and grading — An AI-powered card identification and pre-grading service is available to eligible members. Each scan consumes 60 points from the user's point balance.
• Mentorship programme — A programme connecting experienced collectors with newcomers for guidance and knowledge sharing.
• Community features — Including posts, comments, follows, likes, and social interactions between users.
• Shops — A directory of trading card retailers and partner stores.
• Channels — Community channels for discussion and content sharing around specific trading card game franchises and topics.

All services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. TCG.SG does not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation of any service and reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time without prior notice.

5. User Content & Listings

Users are solely responsible for all content they post, upload, or transmit through the Platform, including but not limited to card listings, images, descriptions, pricing, comments, and profile information ("User Content").

By submitting User Content to the Platform, you grant TCG.SG a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display, reproduce, modify, and distribute your User Content on the Platform for the purpose of providing and promoting our services.

TCG.SG reserves the right to remove, modify, or restrict any User Content at its sole discretion, without prior notice and without obligation to provide a reason.

Prohibited Content

The following types of content are strictly prohibited on the Platform:

• Listings for counterfeit, replica, or fake trading cards
• Listings for stolen goods or items obtained through unlawful means
• Offensive, defamatory, discriminatory, or obscene material
• Misleading or inaccurate descriptions, images, or pricing information
• Content that infringes upon the intellectual property rights of any third party
• Spam, unsolicited advertising, or promotional material not authorised by TCG.SG

6. Content Takedown & Moderation

TCG.SG reserves the absolute right to remove, edit, or restrict access to any User Content at any time, without prior notice, and without any liability to the user or any third party.

Upon receiving a valid complaint or report regarding any User Content, TCG.SG may, at its sole discretion:

• Remove or take down the reported content immediately
• Amend or modify the content as deemed appropriate
• Restrict the visibility or accessibility of the content
• Issue a warning to the user responsible for the content
• Suspend or terminate the user's account

Users whose content is removed or restricted shall have no claim for damages, compensation, or restitution against TCG.SG arising from such removal or restriction.

Repeated violations of these Terms, community guidelines, or content policies may result in permanent account termination without prior warning.

TCG.SG acts as an intermediary platform and is not responsible for the accuracy, legality, reliability, or quality of any User Content posted on the Platform. Users acknowledge that they rely on User Content at their own risk.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 TCG.SG Property

The Platform, including its branding, design, logos, user interface, underlying technology, software, and all associated intellectual property, is owned by TCG.SG and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws of Singapore and international treaties.

7.2 Trading Card Franchise Property

All trading card game names, card images, logos, characters, and related intellectual property — including but not limited to Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece, Magic: The Gathering, Dragon Ball, and Digimon — are the property of their respective franchise owners and publishers. TCG.SG is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any card game publisher or franchise owner.

7.3 Restrictions

Users must not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit any TCG.SG content, branding, or technology without prior written permission from TCG.SG.

8. Transactions Between Users

TCG.SG facilitates connections between buyers and sellers but does not participate in, endorse, or guarantee any transaction conducted through the Platform.

• All transactions between users are conducted at the users' own risk.
• TCG.SG is not liable for any disputes, fraud, misrepresentation, losses, or damages arising from transactions between users.
• It is the sole responsibility of the seller to accurately describe and represent the cards being sold, including their authenticity, condition, and grading.
• It is the sole responsibility of the buyer to verify the authenticity, condition, and value of cards before completing a purchase.
• Both parties are responsible for ensuring that payment is completed securely and in accordance with agreed-upon terms.

9. AI Services Disclaimer

TCG.SG offers AI-powered card scanning and pre-grading services for informational and educational purposes only. By using these services, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

• AI card scanning results are estimates only and do not constitute professional card grading.
• AI grading is not a substitute for professional grading services such as PSA (Professional Sports Authenticator), BGS (Beckett Grading Services), CGC (Certified Guaranty Company), or any other accredited grading authority.
• Users should not rely solely on AI-generated results for making purchasing, selling, or pricing decisions.
• TCG.SG does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI-generated identification, grading score, or assessment.
• TCG.SG shall not be held liable for any losses, damages, or decisions made based on AI scan results.

10. Points & Virtual Currency

TCG.SG operates a points system that allows users to access certain features and services on the Platform. The following terms apply to all points and virtual currency:

• Points purchased through the Platform are non-refundable and non-transferable.
• TCG.SG reserves the right to modify point values, packages, pricing, and associated features at any time without prior notice.
• Points have no real-world monetary value outside the Platform and cannot be exchanged for cash, cryptocurrency, or any other form of currency.
• TCG.SG reserves the right to expire, revoke, or adjust point balances in cases of abuse, fraud, or violation of these Terms.
• In the event of account termination, any remaining points in your account will be forfeited.

11. Subscription Plans

TCG.SG offers tiered subscription plans (VIP, VVIP, and VVVIP) that provide access to enhanced features and services. The following terms apply:

• Subscription plans are subscription-based and will automatically renew unless cancelled in accordance with the applicable plan terms.
• Cancellation of a subscription must follow the cancellation procedures specified in the plan terms. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.
• No refunds will be issued for partial subscription periods, unused features, or early cancellation.
• TCG.SG reserves the right to modify subscription pricing, features, and tiers at any time. Existing subscribers will be notified of material changes prior to their next billing cycle.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by the laws of Singapore:

• TCG.SG shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, business opportunities, or goodwill, arising from or in connection with your use of the Platform.
• TCG.SG's maximum aggregate liability to you for any and all claims arising from or related to these Terms or the Platform shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to TCG.SG in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
• TCG.SG is not liable for any losses, damages, or disputes arising from user-to-user transactions conducted through the Platform.
• TCG.SG is not liable for any inaccuracies, errors, or omissions in AI card scanning and grading results.
• TCG.SG is not liable for any service interruptions, downtime, data loss, or technical failures, whether planned or unplanned.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless TCG.SG, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with:

• Your use of or access to the Platform
• Any User Content you post, upload, or transmit through the Platform
• Your violation of these Terms or any applicable law or regulation
• Your infringement of any intellectual property or other rights of any third party
• Any dispute between you and another user of the Platform

14. Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

In the event of any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Platform:

1. Mediation — The parties shall first attempt to resolve the dispute through good faith mediation administered by the Singapore Mediation Centre or another mutually agreed mediation provider.
2. Litigation — If mediation fails to resolve the dispute within sixty (60) days, either party may submit the dispute to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Singapore.

You agree to waive any right to participate in a class action, collective action, or representative proceeding against TCG.SG. All claims must be brought in your individual capacity.

15. Modification of Terms

TCG.SG reserves the right to update, modify, or replace these Terms at any time and at its sole discretion. When material changes are made, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

Your continued use of the Platform following the posting of any changes to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of such changes. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable, while preserving the original intent of the provision.
